Digitisation of large and heavy specimens 2D (RBINS/RMCA)

         
These specimens should be imaged using plain studio photography techniques. In essence they are too heavy or too large to be placed in a imaging tent/box or cabinet. If the specimens are still fairly easy transported, they can be imaged in a photography studio using large studio (speed)lights. If not backdrops should be used in the storage rooms or exhibition. Typically the equipment used consists of * DSLR or Mirrorless camera * Wide angle or fixed focal lens * Studio lights or powerful speedlights * Backdrops in different colors to create an even background
