Digitisation of large and heavy specimens 2D (RBINS/RMCA)
These specimens should be imaged using plain studio photography techniques. In essence they are too heavy or too large to be placed in a imaging tent/box or cabinet. If the specimens are still fairly easy transported, they can be imaged in a photography studio using large studio (speed)lights. If not backdrops should be used in the storage rooms or exhibition.
Typically the equipment used consists of
* DSLR or Mirrorless camera
* Wide angle or fixed focal lens
* Studio lights or powerful speedlights
* Backdrops in different colors to create an even background
