Top view A3 Scanner (RBINS/RMCA)

This scanner allows to digitize from top (as a book scanner). it is possible to add a led background for the digitization of the microscopic slides

Shape and texture

This setup if fine for a fast and cheap digitisation for OCR (Adobe Acrobat and included) or labels digitization.
It is not suitable for a high resolution digitisation of the slides and their associated specimens.
It is not suitable for the digitisation of insects boxes due to the shadow(s) produced by the scanner and the relativey low resolution (244 DPI optic)
